Future of Education: GTPA Collaboration for Teacher Quality and Learning Impact

On 12 April 2019 the Institute for Learning Sciences and Teacher Education (ILSTE) hosted a Future of Education forum in Brisbane in partnership with seven Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) from across Queensland and Tasmania.

The focus of the forum was on innovation and accountability in initial teacher education. Opened by the Minister for Education, the Hon Grace Grace, the event profiled the GTPA Collective’s investment of expertise in strengthening public confidence in the quality of teacher education. Presentations were made by ILSTE researchers, teacher educators and recent graduates. The success of this event will be built on in a further forum to be held on 14 October 2019.
