Panel Event & Book Launch: Teacher Education as Vital Nation Building

The Institute for Learning Sciences and Teacher Education (ILSTE) hosted a special online panel event on teaching as a career of choice on Wednesday 14 September 2022. Facilitated by Madonna King, the event delivered on its promises to be fast-paced and forward looking, bringing together ideas with potential to form new social contracts for teacher education, young people and communities. A new book titled, ‘Professionalizing Teacher Education: Performance Assessment, Standards, Moderation and Evidence’ was also launched at the event by Professor Mary Ryan, Executive Dean of Education and Arts ACU.
